Visiting Clare for the weekend and was recommended to go to Pauletts, and they did not disappoint !
Chrissy looked after us, she was super lovely, attentive and informative of the menu and wine list. We had the 3 courses to share over lunch on Friday when we arrived. Everything was cooked well and flavours complimented the wines so well.
The food was so good we went back Sunday lunch to try out their wine and canapè flight. They had mentioned they were booked for a birthday function but able to facilitate a table indoors for us. Chrissy made sure we were looked after on the day despite the busy atmosphere. The service did not seem rushed and we never felt forgotten. The food does not disappoint and the service is exceptional. Pauletts has left a lasting impression on us and we will be back!

This is no doubt the best dining experience of my life.
Now I would not normally spend $59 on lunch, but OMG I'm so glad I did.
Having purchased the premium flight canopies which is perfectly matched to 5 different wines I am in awe. Seriously the most exquisite food experience I have ever encountered. Chrissy our host was magnificent, friendly, knowledgeable and just lovely. The food and wine matched perfectly. Good company made it even better!
I can not rate the food and wine highly enough. Added bonus is the dessert and coffee. Wow, just wow.

An absolute must when visiting the Clare Valley.
Indulged in 5 courses today all were superb. flavours and plating were a perfect example of local produce, season and expertise.

Sensational food with great native ingredients
Brilliant place to sample some of Clare's lovely wines....we had a late breakfast so we just wanted a little nibble and a tasting of some nice wine...we stopped in and tried the "chefs choice" tasting ....we loved it....to start....pepperberry cured barramundi, creme franchise, horseradish, Geraldton wax paired with a Polish hill Riesling.....winter mushroom croquettes truffle pecorino native thyme with a Chardonnay this was my favourite it was delicious!!!!
House made pancetta burnt honey rosemary pepper berry chilli with a Sangiovese rose....this wine was so good!!!
Rodriguez brothers chorizo round leaf mint smoked macadamia with 'Elodie' Syrah....finally the cab merlot with another of my favourite nibbles...Emu liver parfait sunrise lime onion jam seablite....you need to taste this!!! Please !!! It is so delicious, beefy and decadent....kudos to the chef!!! Delicious chef!!!!
Stop in like we did you will not be disappointed.....the views are also amazing, it was wet and cold for our visit but the dining area was heated and also had little rugs if you needed......

WoW Factor!
The view is spectacular, a great vibe and the service was fantastic.
We ordered some desserts. On my they were next level! The taste, presentation and they had the WoW Factor! This is the place we are going to be recommending you eat at to our family & friends heading over this way!

Most memorable dining establishment in Australia
This is the second time we've dined at Pauletts, and we enjoyed our lunch as much as we did the first time, a few years ago. When we were in the area last time, we tried a number of well known and highly rated restaurants, but Pauletts was imprinted in our minds as the absolute standout, and we have a couple of chefs in our group. This restaurant was a must for us to return to, and it didn't disappoint. All the staff are lovely and welcoming, the position is gorgeous, the pirice for the quality is sooooo reasonable, and the style, presentation, and taste of all the dishes served was once again exceptional. We did the 3 course feed us option, and was served the peaches (delectable), the gnocchi (a real taste of Italy), followed by the beef (cooked perfectly, with flavours to savour), and a complimentary tomato salad (absolutely awesome). The wine is so well priced at under $10 a glass, and the homemade sour dough bread was so good, that my husband asked if the chef wouldn't mind giving him a couple of spoons of his sourdough starter (as my husband forgot his starter, and we've just begun a 5 month trip around Australia), which the chef kindly did. Just another reason to put Pauletts at the top of our "must experience" dining list. Pauletts bush divine winery restaurant in Polish Hill (part of the Clare Valley) is 5 star all the way. Experience food the way it should be served, with fresh crisp flavours, quality produce, and edible natives you've never seen before ... what's not to love about this place!
A lunch at Pauletts is surely a "must do" for a clare valley visit.
The 5 course degustation where the chef chooses the courses is a gastronomic delight with subtle flavours superbly balanced with accompanying wines, and the occasional course hich challenges your senses and preconceptions Eg whipped Gorgonzola desert. Each of 5 courses matched with wine. Is there any better way to enjoy a wine tasting and laze away an afternoon with good food, good wine, good views and good service. (Dont try this in less than 3 hours) Very attentive and thoughtful staff. Perhaps the highlight of dining around Oz, including some other highly awarded restaurants.

What a lovely and delicious experience!
What a lovely and delicious experience! Trying to pick where to do a wine tasting in the wonderful Clare valley, we fortunately hit on Paulett's. Using the fabulous Chrissy as our guide to the experience we settled on two of the 'flights' which were just the right amount of food to go with the array of wines. Way beyond our expectations. The food was gourmet ++, locally inspired and perfectly chosen to feature the accompanying wines. The view over the hills was sensational (albeit a bit dry at this time of year, but Tuscany has its dry season too!). The mood was lovely, just right, and we've enjoyed our selection of Paulett wines on our ongoing travels. Thank you. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed the most spectacular, inventive Sunday lunch. The food was perfectly executed and so original with the incorporation of bush ingredients. The flavour combinations were truly inspired, particularly the brisket with mushrooms and native succulents. And then there’s the service… so helpful/engaged/responsive/delightful… making us even more eager to return at the earliest opportunity. A beautiful setting at any time of the year and a top tier destination dining experience.

The best I've experienced in Australia
PAULETT wines and their tasting experience I rate as the best I've experienced in Australia. Our waitress,Jade, gave us superb service! As opposed to the standard choice of only 5 wines, we could taste ALL wines on their list. The cheese platter was hands-down the best I've ever tasted.

Probably the best wine tasting ever ...
Thoroughly agree with all the other positive reviews ... from the minute we walked in, all the staff were warm, friendly and couldn't have done more to make it a fabulous experience. What we had thought would be a quick stop turned into a three hour, thoroughly enjoyable lunch topped with stunning views. The wine flights matched with canapes are highly recommended, made all the more enjoyable by the knowledgable team who took the time to answer all our questions without ever making us feel rushed. A big thanks to all from the front of house ladies to the chefs, and everyone else who helped make this such a lovely afternoon - we'll be back!
